Haul Sheet

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 18, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Haul Sheet, operated by Carl Wakefield ("Haul Sheet", "we", "us") for the Haul Sheet app and haulsheet.org. By using Haul Sheet you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.

1. What Haul Sheet is

Haul Sheet helps you keep time cards, loads, tickets, pay, expenses and reports for trucking work. It's a record-keeping tool. It is not tax, legal, accounting, payroll or compliance advice. It doesn't replace your accountant, your logbook or ELD, or your permits. Reports such as quarterly, year-end, weight-mile or IFTA reports are only as accurate as the information entered. Check them before you file anything or pay anyone.

2. Check your numbers

Ticket and receipt scanning reads text from photos and can get things wrong. Statement matching and pay calculations depend on the rates and records entered. Always review scanned fields, pay, statements and reports. You're responsible for the records you keep, the pay you send or accept, and the reports you file.

3. Accounts and fleets

4. Subscriptions, trials and payment

5. Your data

Your records belong to you or to your fleet. You give us permission to store, process, back up and transmit them only as needed to run Haul Sheet for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export a backup and delete your data at any time. Keep your own copies of anything important. Backups and sync help, but we can't promise data will never be lost.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Haul Sheet. That means don't break the law with it, try to get into another fleet's data, interfere with the service, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, resell it, or upload anything you don't have the right to share. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Feedback

If you send ideas or suggestions, we can use them to improve Haul Sheet without owing you anything. Thank you. That's how it gets better.

8. Changes and availability

We're adding features and may change or remove things. Features described as "coming" or "on the way" aren't promised by a particular date. We aim to keep the service available, but there may be outages. The app keeps working on your phone offline either way. If we ever shut down online sync, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

9. Disclaimers

Haul Sheet is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost pay, fines, penalties, taxes or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about Haul Sheet is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Haul Sheet in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

11. Indemnity

If you use Haul Sheet for a business, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims by others (for example, your drivers or customers) that come from your records, your pay decisions, or your breaking these terms.

12. Ending

You can stop using Haul Sheet and delete your account any time. See Delete your account. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously break these terms. Sections 1, 2, 5 and 9 to 13 keep applying after that.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first so we can try to sort it out. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. You can also use small claims court if you qualify.

14. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Haul Sheet or its content, has no duty to provide maintenance or support, and isn't responsible for any claims about the app (including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims). If the app fails to meet a warranty, you can tell Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you aren't in a country under a U.S. government embargo and aren't on a U.S. government restricted-party list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
